This is my first attempt at using a "wah-wah" pedal. Actually, what I'm using is a Digitech RP100 connected to an expression pedal; the expression pedal controls the RP100's filter. Using a wah-wah pedal takes a bit of coordination, as I've learned. I've got a ways to go before I'm fluent with it.
I spent a lot of time in preperation for this piece working on my sound. I recorded many trial runs using riffs from this piece as well as others. My goal was to tweak my sound until I got something satisfying. What I finally settled on came close to what I was looking for. It will do for now.
